I've got a new PC running windows 10. I've got the disk for Civ 2 and Planescape: Torment.

I can't actually load either game currently, and I really know nothing about PCs, is there any way to make them playable?

There's a guide for Infinity Engine games (like Planescape)

Windows 10?!?

Windows 10?!?!?

Ok, Windows 10 doesn't exist yet, unless you came from the future. Anyway, many older games still work on Windows7 and 8. For the ones that don't, you need emulators/virtual machines.

For old Dos games, there's Dosbox. It plays almost every DOS game ever made. Its not hard to use if you read the faqs. For older Windows 9x games, you need a virtual machine. I like Virtual PC, and I have a Windows 95 installation on a virtual machine. Its amazing, even if it has some limitations.

Don't they have consoles in the future you come from? You can only play games for 5-7ish years.

See when I say I know nothing about computers, I'm not lying.

Thank you both for your help
