Nvidia is expected to drop prices very soon to compete with R7/9... At least that's what was reported initially, but it looks like they might walk that back.

The 290x in games using Mantle!

It'll be interesting to see if the GCN cards will have an edge over their Kepler equivalents once games start using DX11.1/11.2

mantle = close source (double edged)
nvapi = open source (yay)
and kepler will have a premium physx from nvidia's super super secret live stream shhhh! its a secret amd will be salty
playing re6 with 8x sparse grid ss with 32xs(2x2 ss + 8 ms)+ mixed sample x128 + 32 forced anisotropic then I hear ps4 is powerful than my pc
