What's the best Graphics Card he can get that will run games such as Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, and Batman Arkham Origins?

He prefers Nvidia as he's had issues with ATI in the past.

gtx 760 for $250 while the r9 280x currently occupies the $300~ spot(apparently it doesn't come with a 3 game promotion like the 7970 though).
PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy. http://www.steamgamesales.com/

Would he even tell the difference between a 4 GIG and 2 GIG card on a 1080p HDTV?

What CPU does he have? Also, BF4 recommends a 3gb GPU.

apparently the 760 isn't strong enough to fully utilize its 4GB so it's not really worth it over the 2GB version.

Ended up getting a GTX 770 instead. I'm sure that'll hold up better in the long run.

If you can, return the 770 now and wait about a week to re-purchase it.

Holiday bundle starts on October 28, I believe (Splinter Cell + Black Flag + Batman).

It might well be worth it in SLI.
