Yeah, most games today are GPU heavy rather than CPU heavy. Unless you are using some i3, I don't think your CPU bottlenecks you. Most i5 and i7 are still considered overkill for today's games. Haswell processor is all good if you are building a new PC, but it is not worth it to upgrade to unless you just want a new motherboard.
