nah, I have a decent download speed. it would probably take me like 40 mins for 50GB

Uh no...unless you're using an OC3 line at 155 Mb/sec, hell, even a 100Mb/sec connection would require one hour and 4 minutes.

If my connection is totally maxed out for the whole time, which it wouldn't be, 50gb would take 10 hours. 200gb a month limit means I'm moving back to buying disks, and moving to console instead.

You'd be buying 5 AAA, 40GB+ games a month?

If PC game's end up being 50gbs and don't offer a physical option then I'll be done with PC gaming. I don't think that will happen honestly, since Steam know's that so many people then a 8mbps connection and have pretty limiting bandwidth caps.I know for myself it take's 48-50 hours for a 16gb game and that's the only internet option I have available.

Steam downloads games super quick compared to most other download servers on the web. Large games on PC (where I can swap out multiple harddrives) are much less of a problem than consoles where I'm stuck with what they put in them.

I'm lucky to get 200 kbps average download speed. In all it would take me over 3 months to download a 50 Gb game since the internet service would get extremely restricted after less than 17 Gb is used. It would probably be down to 1 kbps or less then. Bandwith limits suck and many providers have them.
I play lots of games. About 90% of them are played in my head.

The disc space would be the bigger issue. Especially if its a game I want to put on the SSD.
