it's amazing what AMD can do with $399, just imagine with 290X

LOL..this is a next gen game on a system where no developer in the world really knows how to develop yet and are learning
lol its not hard to get crysis 3 at 60 fps in 1080p on an average card, just lower your setting lol. its harder to do it with all the options cranked up to the max, which new consoles cant

Also, post up some screenshots if you want of some games looking sick 1080p/60 with $500 setup. There's only a handful of pc games that look as good anyway. You act like every pc game has better graphics than KZ. Some do, but not a ton of'em.
Above 30 does not mean 60. It likely means that the target was 30 for the minimums... who knows if they succeeded or not...
That said, people saying it looks bad or that pc games blow it away are so full of it. There is a lot going on in that video and the sound design alone was enough to impress me. Its okay that the consoles have games that are pushing us forward guys. Our higher end machines will likely be able to keep up too. We just need the newer software to be released.

Well, that's nice I suppose. They did previously announce they were going to lock it at 30 to keep it from varying, but I guess they got some backlash for it.
Also, it would be silly to think that every PC game looks better than KZSF, seeing as there have been PC games around since before Playstation was even an idea, and it's a very diverse market with projects coming from everything from random people making a game in their spare time to large-budget AAA studios. Most of the AAA PC content lately I would say already looks better than KZSF, much less the standout titles among those, especially with those nasty jaggies and low resolution effects. Even console ports from "last gen"(crysis 3, battlefield 3) look better.

Ball and Cup on ps mobile has framerate issues. -stargazer64
I never said it was 60. From what some people are saying the game's single player will run between 30-60fps. That's all I said. I did say MP was 60 as the devs have said it is too.
Definitely agree though. This just means when games in the future games come out in PC/PS4 they're gonna look better than PS4.
first off video is old
second, it looks pretty good for the price you pay ($543.12, tax included) to play that game and all of it's features out of the box.
third, Crysis 3 looks much better and can run at higher frame rate and resolutions now. With Crysis 3 being an old PC game, there's no telling what the PC games are going to do in the future.
We as a gaming community goes through this crap every single generation. Console games look pretty good in the beginning but PC games always end up on top because the technology advances too quickly. Take the R9 290X and the Titan. Think about it...
But this generation PC's already have the first step, like consoles did last gen. It's not going to be pretty for consoles.
but what's the point in great shiny visuals if the gameplay is sub par?

People hate just to hate. Game looks awesome to me. I may pick up a PS4 down the line.

I'm going to have to go with this. I think a lot of people in this topic are greatly exaggerating how good some PC games look. KZ is easily better looking than the original Crysis unless heavily modded. No game from 2010 looks as good, Metro 2033 being the best looking game of that year. I'd say that KZ looks pretty comparable to The Witcher 2 in terms of graphics and the outdoor environments. Games like Crysis 3 and Metro Last Light definitely look better, of course.
