He has some high end Samsung TV that is marketed as 600hz.

On Thursday I'll let you guys know what it's like using his dual 780s.

Why would you need 600fps? I cant imagine anything above 240.

why in hell would anyone want to see 600 fps?

I'm already having trouble spotting the difference on everything after 120fps.

you do know that the ps4 has ddr5 ram right? with the speed that the ps4s ram downloads at it would only take a few seconds to download killzone

It's because one part of a plasma display operates at 600 Hz, so they claim that the entire thing does.

It's the equivalent to Blast Processing. The Genesis was clocked higher than the SNES, so that was their marketing gimmick.

Question; how do we go about testing it? Put on vsync and try a graphically weak game out to see what it locks at?
