Do you actually plan on playing games while on the move? If most of your gaming will be at home, why not just buy a a $2,000 desktop and a nice laptop for $500-$1,000?

And handle PS2 games like SOTC and ZOTE 4-6x native res.

you don't want a laptop for PS2 emulation you will want a desktop with a unlocked intel k series cpu for the best results.

Damn guys, I guess the xoticpc link that keeps getting posted doesn't exist. There's no such thing as a gaming laptop according to this guy.

They don't. It's a marketing gimmick to get people to spend thousands on something they will need to keep plugged into a wall to play for more than an hour and half to two hours.

Again, unless you move around constantly and travel a lot getting a "gaming" laptop is a waste of money.

Better off spending that on a sweet desk top and get a laptop with IGP like the Intel iris for those gaming fixes.

A laptop that can handle games at their highest settings like the best desktops, with both an excellent CPU+GPU. And handle PS2 games like SOTC and ZOTE 4-6x native res. and of course, BT4, Minecraft, etc high settings.

Anyone know of any great $3000 or below laptops?

Obvious troll, not so obvious it would seem
