Interesting article. IMO If Valve wants to succeed, they need to cooperate with EA.

And if I want to become rich and famous I need to sell my soul to the devil. Which if you ask me is only slightly worse than cooperating with EA.

Another case of "OMG IT'S DIFFERENT! WE MUST SHUN IT!!!" Why not just let it come out and let the consumer decide if it is good or not?
