To people saying ram is cheap it is like 3 times as much as it was once before.

buy 8 gigs, and wait for ram to hopefully go back down to prices from last year.

I got 8gb when I built my PC. It's been working out pretty well.
GTX 580 SLI - i5 2500k @ 4.6 - 8GB RAM - Crucial M4 256GB - HX1050 - ASRock Z3X3 - NZXT Switch 810 - BenQ XL2420TX

At least 8, 16 if you want. RAM is stupid expensive atm, so id get 8 now then upgrade to 16 when it drops in price.

8GB should be enough. Can always upgrade to more if anything.
