It has a great community, excellent combat, unlimited limited time content patches.

It's shallow, casual as all hell, and lacking in any real sense of progression past level 30

Compared to what other games? Guild wars 2 has much greater depth than other games. Have you not been playing the living world events?

Its a good MMO for your first time, but once you realize how shallow the combat, progression, and teammate cooperation is it just killed the drive for me to get above level 40

I was a progression raider in WoW for the better part of the last decade, trust me when I say GW2 doesn't have **** when it comes to depth.

No. No it's not.
I've played just about all the major MMO's and i can tell you that Rift is the best MMO. I'm not even lying.

WoW is a mindless game,skilllless . It doesn't even have an evade button like gw2..
