So a friend of mind just gave me his old desktop that was in perfect condition last time I saw it. The only problem now is the psu has gone out when he gave it to me and was wondering what kind of psu would be good for this:

Operating System
Windows XP Professional 32-bit SP3
CPU
Intel Pentium 4 519K
Prescott 90nm Technology
RAM
3.00GB Single-Channel @ 133MHz
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. Goldfish3 (CPU 1) 114 °F
Graphics
SANYO LCD (1440x900@60Hz)
Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family (HP)
Hard Drives
186GB Seagate ST3200822AS (SATA) 92 °F
Optical Drives
HP DVD Writer 640c
ASUS CD-S480/A5
INWZ ODEVGXAB SCSI CdRom Device
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

Looking for something preferably under 100$

Don't worry Wyze, your advice is about spot on.

Just as a general recommendation, a Corsair CX430 is $20 (or it was last night).

I have that PSU, it is decent, although it does have a slight hum after I turn it off...
