At first, I was stoked to be grabbing parts to build my 1st gaming computer I already got the MOBO and the CPU (I want to do this build http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfGE4i_A6E4) and because I study computing, building computers is a nice skill to have, but with all the buzz surrounding the PS4, I feel that the types of games on PS4 are the kinds of games I like and I felt that I was missing out on the simplicity of shoving in the disk, and just playing without any thinking, but after a quick Google search, there are obviously 100x more games on PC than any other console, and the AAA games will be on PC for sure, and also there's emulation. I really don't plan on breaking the bank to buy both a PS4 and PC, but am I missing out much by not getting a console?
If nothing you do will fail, how much more would you do? Show me,

Build your PC as planned, and buy a PS4 down the road.

Best of all worlds that way.

The exclusives titles which are better than PC exclusives, not to mention that recent titles seems to run really well on the newer consoles than on PC. It's up to you whether you think it's worth it or not, just wait until next year, it's too early to say as they're just now being release.

If you're missing that many games, get it eventually.

Actually, next gen hardware is more PC like...more game installs, more downloading, more patches. It's basically consolized PC.

Id say build a PC now, get a PS4 down the road as they become cheaper and there are more games for them.

The exclusive games for PS4 are all mediocre at best at the moment.

This is true of the PS3, too. PS4 will probably just have more of this.

Get the pc right now but a PS4 will be a great machine to have in about a year or so once it has some more games. PS4 exclusives are normally great games that are well worth playing.

Yep, I'll be getting a PS4 down the line. Why limit yourself to one?

And the masonry scene.

In any case, buying a console at launch is absolutely silly.
