I really don't know but when it's red or ''Republic of Gamers'' it gets my attention easily.

I plan on building myself a new PC with a Mini-ITX and so far ASUS answers my needs :D

- Intel Core i7 4770K (with a Thermalright AXP-200R)
- ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VI IMPACT
- Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M2A1600C10R
- ASUS ROG MARS 760

As for the rest, it's still undecided.

My only real brand allegiance is Western Digital.

Anything else, I will consider many options.

ASUS ROG products are nice, but if you don't know all that much about them it's likely you will be paying a premium for features you never ever use. I have a ROG Rampage IV Extreme mobo but there IS a reason for it. Otherwise I have stuff from EVGA, Arctic, Asus, coolermaster, etc in my system.

I, however, am also a sucker for red xD

Well I do overclock and play a lot in the BIOS but the problem with the IMPACT it's the fact that there isn't much USB ports on it while the Z87I-DELUXE comes to my need... and I don't care there is a better sound card....

All the motherboard I had so far lately:

Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 (worked like a charm)
ASUS Maximus V GENE
ASUS RAMPAGE IV Formula
GIGABYTE GA-F2A85X-UP4 (Current one, works like a charm)

The ASUS Maximus VI IMPACT will be the third ROG product I'll get for myself :D

If you had an LGA 2011 socket Mobo... why the hell are you getting these mobos? They're actually a pretty steep downgrade. What CPU were you using in the Rampage IV formula?

Motherboard: MSI , Gigabyte

The rest is whatever the best value/recommendations are.

Oh, and processors are whatever works best for games at the time - usually Intel but who knows how this mantle thing is going to work.

Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 (Intel Core i7 2700K)
ASUS Maximus V GENE (Intel Core i7 2700K)
ASUS RAMPAGE IV Formula (Intel Core i7 3930K)
GIGABYTE GA-F2A85X-UP4 (AMD A10-5800K)

Intel Retail Edge says hi, and some friends of mine wanted the computer for a real good price... I couldn't say no...

I wanted to test some AMD stuff temporarily, so I went with FM2. So far for only 300$ you get a good CPU + Mobo :D
