For the price that person bought me the computer, trust me you would have done the same ;). At the end, the only things I really keep for myself is the SSDs and HDDs.

The AMD FM2 is just until the end of 2013, I'm getting an Intel Core i7 4770K :D

CPU - Intel (only used them...)
RAM - Mushkin/Gskill (only used them...)
GPU - Sapphire, EVGA, or ASUS. (EVGA with the awesome warranty. Sapphire with the long lifespan. ASUS... don't know; haven't used this card very long.)
Motherboard - Gigabyte (only used them...)
HDD - Western Digital (None died on me yet)
PSU - Antec or Seasonic. (I use an Antec 430W Earthwatt which is internally a Seasonic S12II)

No real brand preference but I've used

AMD, Intel, MSI, ASUS, Asrock, Gigabyte, G Skill, Corsair, Kingston, Crucial, XFX, EVGA, PC Power & Cooling, Seasonic, Silverstone, Western Digital, Seagate, Cooler Master, Logitech, Viewsonic, Samsung, Ducky.
