Try lowering the settings on the game and see what happens.

The only things that remotely makes sense in my head is BF3 causing your system to draw more power than the plug provides or possibly causing the charging circuitry to overheat. It's almost certainly not the game itself.

I play crysis 2 on ultra and it didn't happen. When I play battlefield 3 its fine for the first few minutes then all of sudden the ac adapter stops glowing.

It's very clear that it does not like the load the game creates. Though im surprised anyone would actually want to max such a hefty game on a laptop. Talk about reducing the life expectancy.

Poor things going to burn out a lot quicker then it should.

I had the ac adapter plugged in all night and it did not go out . It only seems to happen when I play demanding games. The ac adapter is made by flextronics. Maybe the ac adapter is not supplying enough power. I don't know. its a m18x r2 with a 7970m and a i7 3740qm

What? I never heard of AC adapter drivers. You're making that up
