I know this sounds odd, but doesn't 290x need less power than 290 (non-x)?

power color. Higher unlock rate and turn it into a 290x

I was interested in picking one up myself so I did the math on it, using a 290 with my 670 as a PhysX card would have been about 600w max, just a hair under, if both were at full load, though I don't think using it as a PhysX card would have brought it to full load.

E: This was with an OCd 3570k, one HDD, one SSD, and a 670FTW, plus a reference 290.
