He's going wireless for gaming? A lot of gamers are against that.

Any gigbit a/b/g/n should be fine. I doubt you'll find a gaming desktop with a wireless card. Best to just install it yourself. It should be easy.

try newegg.ca if shipping to canada.

If paying with a credit card you need a canadian one though.

I would suggest NCIX before newegg as they're a premiere Canadian retailer the same way newegg is for the states.

I think people forget this sometimes. Changing the link to .ca for the Newegg suggestion:

Good suggestion, but pretty much right at budget. Seriously though if he wants to spend the money, good buy. GTX770 is a nice gaming card. NCIX has a similar item:

This is is above budget as well, but comes with a SSD. If you need to save money, NCIX allows you to customize them. You can easily bring it down to $1425 with a cheaper case and power supply.

Wow i forgot about ncix. That already comes prebuilt correct? it doesn't have a HDD or keyboard and mouse as he needs. I am also not sure if the OS is included. Need to have a wireless card.

They do. I think their desktops are a bit pricey though, but I've bought a $2000 Sager from them and was very pleased
