Don't really consider $1500 affordable. But considering the fact, you would need a $4000 pc to run anything good at 4K

No point till there's content that takes advantage of it. Till then all you have is the privilege of using cutting edge hardware that'll be outdated before it has a good use case.

Not really, a standard gaming PC with $800 of graphics cards would do fine.
