Well, when the base game isn't inherently stable to begin with, adding more strain/variables to the engine with mods certainly isn't going to improve matters.

When modding games, I recommend only adding maybe 1 or 2 mods at a time and then checking for stability or compatibility issues. It makes it much easier to figure out which mod might be causing problems, which makes those problems easier to solve.

I had to disable Climates of Tamriel altogether. Even after sorting out most of the issues with it I still get a weird graphical glitch in my skybox that looks almost like GPU artifacting, but it's only when I'm running that mod. It makes me sad.
