if your case is too small then yes.
PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy.

are the only towers with these problems the small ones? mine is like a regular one, are all graphics card gonna fit in it like the gtx 780?

Nope, depends on the tower... some towers have a fixed hard drive case that gets in the way of larger video cards. Figure out the length of the GTX 780 you're interested in buying, whip out your measuring tape and figure out how much clearance you'll have...

I have a mid sized case and sometimes I wish i had a large case when I upgrade, but i've never not been able to fit something in.

Most mid and full towers can fit any GPU out now. Though sometimes the cases might have some kinda obnoxious bull **** going on with the drive bays that block some space.

I bought a mid size case for my new pc and I regret not getting a full sized tower. I just dont' know how i'm going to fit 2 gpu's in this tiny a** case

Most mid sized cases will fit 2 GPUs just fine.

This. Don't know what case you bought. My old case could probably fit 3 gpus
