TC's threads the past few days have been hilarious.

Look closely at your motherboard. Look at the slots for your memory and your video card. You'll see some probably white text which labels the different slots 1, 2, 3, 4, PCI-E x 16, SATA 0, 1, 2, 3, etc.

Some motherboards require your memory in slots 1 and 3. I've used ones that don't matter, but you do want to match the colors, typically 1 and 3.

Your video card will most likely be the top slot, closest to the CPU like you have it.

I don't think the SATA plugs matter, but it will show that way in your Bios. Again, typically plug them in 0, 1, 2, 3 in that order.

Oh, and yes, your fan sliding a little is normal. I've used two Hyper 212s and they both twist a little. My CPU temps are great.
And so he prophesied that the sheeple will follow the stupid, and the stupid will rule the Earth.

I've lol'ed so hard. I have to also ask if this is real. These are extremely basic things but at the very least what kind of person does all this before reading or watching a how to video. I mean how is it not common sense to at least put the ram in the same colored slots?
