For those making multiple purchases on Steam, I've heard stories about them freezing your card if you buy a lot of games at once. Has it happened to you yet?

Erm hopefully your bank would call you and ask about the sudden purchases first before freezing your card.

I've had my card frozen once before when I bought a bunch of apps for my phone during a massive sale. They did this before contacting me and I had to get a new card.

They've never froze my card but once they did wait a few days before letting them through so when I checked it looked like I didn't spend much and then all of a sudden EXPLOSION.

Nope. But my recent purchases have been on Amazon more than Steam.

I'm pretty sure they freeze your card to prevent further purchases.

Steam doesn't freeze your card, the bank does. See a large amount of digital purchases made closely together is usually a red flag for identity theft. I wouldn't worry about this, though.

I use a debit card vs a credit card (it's still a Visa though, technically) and I haven't had a problem, haven't bought much this sale but I did during the summer sale, I don't have a number on how many games I bought but my library has 100 games, only 2-3 F2P ones, and the bulk of them were bought during that sale since it was my first big sale, though quite a few were parts of bundles (steam collections, not humble bundles)
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there
