I have an old system, basic specs below, that I'm looking to get a budget video card for that will give it enough of a boost to play Max Payne 3. What would you recommend, something between $100-200 preferred, or would you forgo any upgrade? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Athlon 64 X2 6000+
GIGABYTE GA-M61P-S3 AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Motherboard
EVGA GeForce 8800GT 512MB (broken. running integrated graphics)

650 Ti maybe. You can find them between 100 and 150.

For an AMD card the 7850 is in that range but I'm not sure how it compares to the 650 Ti.

I recommend a radeon hd6670.

low tdp, 60 wats, and is great to gaming on med high 720p, with the rest of PC you couldn't go higher than that.
