I put my computer through a 3DMark test and it scored pretty well with the graphics tests (100FPS on average, but when it came to the physics test, it tanked really bad, getting only 15FPS lol.

Whoes the culprit?

I got over 60 fps on the first two 3D Mark tests including the physics (the first test was like 1000 fps), then when the third one rolled around the physics test killed me.

Pretty sure just the CPU in 3Dmark, if it was PhysX nVidia cards would have an unfair advantage and my physics scores weren't great when I ran it on my 670.
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there

You aren't meant to get 60+FPS on the CPU physics test to begin with. I really don't think you need to upgrade just because of that.

My 2500k at 4.0 get 23-25 fps on the physics test so your cpu is fine.
