As in, the map changes to remove or add access to a map area over time. And by that I mean something other than destruction as in the Battlefield games.

Like, there's a map in Black Ops 2 (Frost) which as a frozen river through it. I'm thinking it'd be pretty cool if, for example, it melted through the course of the match, and you'd have a varying degree of luck in being able to walk on it without falling through the ice.

Levolution with Battlefield 4.

Building falls and changes the map.
then there is another map where you destroy a dam, and the whole maps gets flooded.

then there is also CoD Ghost which match changes after the Nuke/MOAB whatever it is.

The one with the dam sounds cool. Buildings just falling is meh, though.

And sounds neat, but I'm still deciding whether I want to get Ghosts after hearing so much bad stuff about it...

Why is that a bad thing? It's the first thing that came to mind as a possible example.

Because Battlefield is the game you shrugged off (you know, the game that has all the destruction) and used a game that has next to zero destruction as your example. I don't get it.

And the dam map is pretty cool. the entire map literally floods and then it's all boats'n'hoes.

It isn't a dam dammit. The actual dam map doesn't feature any big "levolution" feature.

What you're talking about is the levee on Flood Zone

It's just a wall that you break down.
