What a joke. In my area the only providers are slow as hell 1.5mpbs internet or no internet. There are no other choices. Tens of millions of other Americans living in rural areas also face the same dilemma where one ISP has a monopoly of the market in the area, so they are forced to play by their rules and pay their prices because they have no other choice.

Yeah I know, it makes a market, but monopolies keep new competitors out.
