For me, it would have to be Planescape Torment. Its not even the HD I look forward to most, but the chance that they may voice act that Encyclopedia sized script... *drools*

Oh, and I'm not talking about slight graphical updates like with the Baldur's Gates, but completely redone for this gen. So those games still qualify.

You really want them to voice all that dialogue?

Really?

Just like comparing a book and movie, usually dialogue gets dumbed down substantially if it has to be voice acted. Or at least they cut it quite a bit, because it takes longer to voice it rather than read.

I actually like mostly text, with a little bit of voice.

A System Shock 2 remake that's true to the original would be great. Something with ironed out mechanics, but nothing streamlined, and a very atmospheric environment and enemies with smooth animations would be great.

Jagged Alliance 2. No, Jagged Alliance: Flashback isn't going to be good. No, Jagged Alliance: Back in Action isn't good.

Xwing/Tie Fighter... too bad Lucasarts is gone.
Alpha Centauri, but Firaxis doesn't have the guts, I lost faith after their consolized "strategy-lite" X-COM remake.

At least we're getting a new Wasteland, hopefully it will meet everyone's expectations and word of mouth will have it sell off the charts. We need the big publishers to loose their fixation with the "one size fit all" dumbing down strategy.
