Steam : 75 million users from 2003 to present

Origin : 50 million users from 2011 to summer of 2013 (unknown how much player base has grown)

This is good news for PC gamers.When Origin starts to dominate and Steam is eventually bought out,PC games may start to have some quality control once again,instead of the early access dribbleware that Steam pushes all the time.

I'd rather have dribleware than the effortless triple A titles they have on origin.

EA Origin had more than 50 million registered members as of summer 2013, including 22 million on mobile platforms

Steam = Finished
PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy.

EA's "triple A" games are worse than the crappiest Greenlit game on Steam

EA Origin® is proving to be the best value in online gaming service, Now that we are going to pass steam, We can purchase Valve and make that Half Life 3 everybody was talking, Followed a month later by the DLC that completes the game, And HL4 6 months later..

It's clear to see that Origin has surpassed Steam. Just look, Mass effect is already here and Titanfall will be the first true next gen game for PC.
