I downloaded the 14.1 beta driver last night and left it installing when I went to bed and it still is not done.... the pc was set to sleep after 4 hours but it didnt seem to make much progress at all..... Is there somthing I need to do ?

I think I had it get stuck once. Solution was to forcibly abort and reboot. If it screws up though then you'll need to do a bit of safe mode tinkering with driver cleaner or whatever it is that the hip kids use these days.

I heard that the latest driver has issues with installation, not sure if that's the one you're trying to install.

I uninstalled everything and redownloaded but now seem to be getting stuck on installing amd catalyst control center :(

Sounds like you need mantle just for the installation.

I installed 14.1 and it screwed up my DVI ports once windows loads.

back to the previous drivers, thankfully I could just hook it up via hdmi and fix it.

Should have known not to touch a beta driver...

Too old to deal with crap like this. Glad I got a GTX 770 instead of a 280x.
