I always wanted to play this but never go around to it. I am looking foward to FFXIV for the PS4 but my PC is great and I want to play something untill then.

How are the graphics, animations, game world, coumminity?

Bubble chat?

Can I play with a 360 controller straight up or will I need to use my Pinnacle Game Profiler?

Thanks guys

I was completely unimpressed with TOR. The main mechanics really follow the MMO blueprint exactly, making the overall experience feel like something you have played before. They did kind of try to implement a single player experience into the MMO, but it detracts from the multi-player aspect and it never really gelled with the way MMO's are played. Also , it is not a worthwhile experience as a single player game when compared to actual single player game. You kind of get the worst of both worlds.

I think the animations and graphics, were... serviceable. Can not say anything looked impressive. It will certainly not wow anyone. The cartoonish style chosen kind of lack character. It kind of reminds me of TF2 in simplicity, but lacking the charm of the characters in that title.

I don't know. I just think the game was crap.

If your PC is great, you should just play the PC version of FFXIV

It's a pretty solid game now all things considered. Its free to play model is pretty restrictive, but it's good enough that you should be able to develop your own opinion of the game instead of trusting anything the un-inspired dipstick brigade known as the GameFAQs community has to say. IT!

Just play FFXIV on PC. It's the better game, it should be easy to get under $15 on PC. Also, buying the game on PS4 will give you a second free month then, and the account is the same for PC and PS4.
