If you just bought them on origin you can return them for a full refund. You have 24 hours from the first time you start up the game, or 7 days I think if you haven't played it yet. Of course the refund will take a few business days to go back to your accout, but why buy twice?

The only problem with Origin is the company running it. Since you don't have a problem with giving EA money, there should be no problem with using Origin.

Origin isn't as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. Sure, it's not Steam's god tier or anything, but it's mostly fine.

It did used to be a goddamn mess, but they're straighten up some. Nowadays I think it's mostly the knee jerk hipster hate that EA gets and Origin catches it as a byproduct of that.

Point being if there's an EA game you want and get it on Origin, you're fine, it's fine, everything is fine.
