It will play games but you're not gonna be running them at max settings, and it's sure as s*** not gonna be running games 4 years from now very well.
Me: Nobody takes the appeal system seriously so nobody cares if you remove their appeal privileges. *removes my appeal privilages*

I upgrade once every 3-4 years. This time it was 3.5 years before my upgrade, but I could have held out another year if I really wanted.

My last pc (Core2quad Q8400, GTS 250, 4gb ddr2 667) lasted 3-4 years at 1600x900 ultra settings.

Now it is i5 3470, GTX 760, 8gb ddr3 1333. And I expect another 3-4 years of 1920x1080 ultra settings.

Ultra not means maxed.

Please define "maxed" for me because I have a feeling it means something different to you.
And also why did you make this topic if you've already built the computer?

Depends, if I need to upgrade then I upgrade. If not, I just leave it for a year or so.
