I was using a combination of asus 24" lcd monitors and 23" acer monitors. Worked well for what I needed using sli. Now I'm using a 27" 1440p monitor and never wanna go back.

Three ASUS monitors, 27" and two 24" ones. I was going to buy two 27's but they're just far too big for the area I was using them in. I'm happy with them.

I think it's a VE278, nothing special. I bought it like a year and half ago when my 21" died on me one morning.

I have 2 samsung displays, different sizes and styles, one was my old monitor and I decided to keep it there to try using 2 displays, now I wouldn't want to be without the 2 ever again.

Ayup. Use a VG236H and a U2713HM. The former is 120Hz and my go-to for FPS and fast-paced games. The latter is 1440p and my primary use monitor.
