Currently Running my 280x with a 7950 in Crossfire. Works fairly well for gaming but for Mining, Which is part of the Reason i bought it, They dont work together very well/at all.

Rest of my Rig should be in my Sig.

Im also Open to suggestions for other Cards. Amd or Nvidia.

650W Seasonic X series Psu Btw.

Edit: Also i have a Second Rig Running just a 6870 for mining atm, Using an older Psu i have that i had to Upgrade Because it wouldnt power my R9 280x. So if you suggest a Nvida Card, I could Throw my 7950 into that, but i would need to buy a New Psu.

The R9 280X is a rebadged 7970 GHz. By crossfiring it with a 7950, it's basically capping performance at that of SLI 7950.

Ditch the 7950 and get another 280X.

Its an almost $100 Between them, Which i dont have.

Thats why i figured if its basically a 7950 Crossfire, I might as well Sell the 280x and pocket an Extra $60-$100

You could do that. I'm just saying you probably won't get any better performance.

Like i said, Im also Open to switching to Nvidia, Because Mining wise things Kinda Suck right now. Btc Value is Down Making just about every coin worth mining worth a lot less. Went from Making $17 a day mining with just my 280x and 6870 to $10 a day if i could get my 7950 to work along side those two.
