If you don't mind a bit of supernatural elements then play Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

For MP, I used to play Enemy Territory but I think it's dead now. I would kill for a remake of Enemy Territory(Quake Wars does not count).
Nothing here.

IL-2 sturmovik if you have a joystick. It's the most popular WW2 combat flight sim and it's awesome.

Here are a few in various genres in that era although some are fantasy based and not 100% pure history driven:

- Battle of Britain
- Blitzkrieg
- Brothers in Arms series
- Call of Duty 1, 2
- Medal of Honor Allied Assault
- Combat Mission 2
- Decisive Battles of WW2: Korsun Pocket
- Operational Art of War 1 & 2
- Wargame Airland Battle
- Wargame European Escalation
- World in Conflict

The recent Wolfenstein was pretty awesome too. It got some bad reviews but I really enjoyed it and its pseudo-open worldness.

Arma 2 has a few WW2 mods and they're the most fun I've had.

Arma 3 has two WW2 mods in development.

Red Orchestra 2.

The best in terms of a fun, extremely authentic WW2 infantry experience in regards to the eastern front and the pacific
