I recently picked up a second gtx 780 ti, and when running crysis 3 everything very high 8xmsaa 16x antriscopic it seemed to be under performing. I used fraps to check my fps and it would hover around 60-70, but at times it would dip to 30-40 fps and stay their for 30 seconds or so. Is this normal? Seems odd that $1600 worth of graphics cards provides this level of performance. Btw CPU is 4670k base clock, playing on 1 asus 144hz 1080p monitor 24'

Crysis 3 is demanding in the extreme, needlessly so. It's a Crysis tradition. You would have been really pissed with what top end rigs did with Crysis 1 when it first came out.

"But can it run Crysis 3?" The killer question to killer rigs.
