2k is pretty decent price for a gaming LAPTOP too. . .

anyways I am guessing it is over priced in spec by around $400-500 for portability...
assuming cpu = 4770 and gpu = 760 sli

You're paying about $800 extra for the light weight and thinness. I find it weird they would put an SLI in something so small.

It takes 780m SLI to match 760 SLI. that's about $2000 on the GPUs alone, definitely not something you're getting in a $2000 laptop. They'll be closer to 650ti Boost SLI, but with worse potential maximum performance since it comes with a 1080p screen and the 765 only has a 128bit bus which really isn't sufficient at that resolution.

As for the processor, it's nice but definitely not equivalent to a 4770, it's closer to 3770, though in some scenarios it will greatly outperform the 3770.

All in all it's decent and I wouldn't mind having one but it's basically a $1000 desktop.

E: I lied, the 765m is only about 3/5 as powerful as the 650ti boost at 1080p, meaning a single boost would offer comparable performance.
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there

This. I'm baffled how it won't be blazing-hot to the touch being so thin and running SLI graphics with a high-end/non-ULV CPU.

And it doesn't help that they claim the laptop is 3D Vision Surround capable...when the laptop screen isn't 3D Vision capable.

It's not SLI, but it's $600 less and by a company people have heard of. Also half the weight and a bit smaller. Only trouble is that it throttles a lot off power and doesn't have good battery life to make up for it either.

EDIT: Apparently Gigabyte makes it. Weird they wouldn't mention that.
