Saw this on sacbee.

http://www.sacbee.com/2014/02/20/6173943/rightscorp-boosts-ingestion-rate.html

did quick search about rightscorp and came across this.

http://www.ubergizmo.com/2014/02/copyright-protectors-targeting-billboard-top-100-charts-downloaders-with-automated-fines/?utm_source=mainrss

TL:DR
Basically what they do is that Rightscorps will send settlement requests to US-based ISPs who then will forward the email to the owner of the IP address. This will cover individual users to universities and even companies who have accounts registered in their name.

Each settlement will cost the downloader a fine of $20 per track, which is around the price of an album already. What this means is that if you’re caught downloading an album of say 10 tracks, your fine would be set at a whopping $200.

Although this specifically says music. This may lead to movies, video games, books, and whatever else people pirate these days..

Be careful pirates.

I am sure pirates are smart enough to use TOR or something even more advanced. Anyway, many pirates are outside the US, and many countries still refuse to answer to US copyright authorities.

This, if they aren't using VPNs already.
Why is it that he can hit a 3rd baseman on a frozen rope from 300 feet away, but he can't hit a 12 foot tall catcher from 60 feet 6 inches away?

You aren't even really reading my posts; you're just staring at your e-mail client and fondly reminiscing about that hobo you stabbed to death. :P
