There was a factory fire at a ram plant right? That factory made like 15% of the worlds ram supply. Quite a few people posted about it here on gamefaqs. But I dont know how legit it is.


It was a small part of the factory and was contained quickly. Prices from all manufacturers shot up.

Yes RAM prices have doubled in less than 2 years... I got 8GB of 1600mhz DDR3 for 35 bucks

Maybe it's because of the new consoles? Does anyone remember if RAM prices went up during the PS3/360 releases?

This is why I love my country and hate my government. Yes NSA, that means you, I hate you too. You "snoop" on EVERYONE to "prevent" attacks but where were you in Boston last year? The FBI even knew about those two guys and still couldn't stop it.
