My rig,

i7 930 @ 4.0GHz
6GB of the fastest DDR3 of the old gen's (4-4-4-20, 2.5GHz)
Samsung SSD
Spinpoint F3 1TB Storage.
GTX 480
1080p

I usually pull about 28-35fps on max with 2x or no AA in modern games like BF4, Black Flag, Crysis 3, stuff like that. Old gen games like Battlefield 3, Arma 2, Shogun 2 and stuff still gets like 40-45fps.

Can I expect to be able to crank up the SSAA and AA in most modern games and get like 50-60fps? Or is that wishful thinking?

This should give you a solid comparison. It's a 570 being compared to the 770, but a 570 is around the same power as a 480.

It looks like I'm gonna be getting almost 70-90% increases at 1080p in some games that I play frequently. Yes! :D

A 770 will max 99% of all games in 1080p. The ones you can't, you'll just have to lower your AA to achieve 60fps.

Yep. Solid little card. BF4, Crysis 3 and a few of the other heavy hitters will take a hit but even then, max (sans AA) will generally net 45+.

I was easily able to run Crysis 3 at 60fps if I took off the AA and maxed everything else with a 680.

huge increase, you will be very happy. I went from a 660 to a 780 myself and I was thrilled. The 770 is a great card as well.
Sony fanboys are the most annoying, Nintendo fanboys are the most ignorant and Microsoft fanboys are adorable because they think they're people.

For some reason, I don't believe you.
