Their website still has a $300 purchase link for the dev kit. Man I'm so stoked for the final product.

Where did they say it was coming out 2014?

Any idea when it will be mass released to consumers? I'm trying to hold out for that one since it will have increased resolution and functionality over the dev kit version. Or do you think it's worth it to purchase the development one now?

Should be out this year.

I have a dev kit, but I'd recommend holding out for the retail version.

Also, I think they may have stopped selling dev kits.

The official statement right now (if you can call it official) is Palmer saying "If it's not out by the end of 2015, then something is wrong." 2014 was projected, and they're probably hoping for the end of this year, but I don't think it should surprise anyone if it comes out early-mid 2015.

Also, for those wondering, the next devkit that will be available to the public (though most likely actually aimed at developers this time) will be out only a very short time before the consumer version.

I think they're still selling them, they just aren't producing any more so when they sell out in a region that's it. If they're all sold out already then yeah, they aren't selling any more.

I should have edited my post but got distracted. Apparently Palmer said recently they're focusing on getting DK2 out as soon as possible.

It uses the soul of an orphan to power the engine that seeks out your deepest desires and shows them to you in 3D...all that and stuff thrown together with whatever they had around the house.
