I've lost time available for playing video games, due to college and a job. Wish I could play more RPGs, but I can't.

What are some short, but worthwhile type games? Can be on any platform and can be old or new and maybe up to 10 hours long. It could be really short too, but still a really enjoyable game like (Journey or Portal).

I like puzzle kind of games like Portal, Professor Layton, Ace Attorney, but I'll take any kinds of recommendations! Thanks.

Dear Esther is one that I can think of

It's a weird as f*** game but it's pretty cool at the same time.

Each of the Bioshocks took me about 10 hours. RE4 took me about 20 my first time through, if you used a puzzle guide and rushed you could probably do it in 10-15 (I could beat NG+ in 6-8 hours). The Dead Space games are all under 20. I think the Bioshock trilogy would be a good fit for you since they're pretty much one-and-done. RE4 and Dead Space 1/2 have great replay value.

I'm actually having a hard time coming up with any non-shooters that are awesome and fall into the 10-20 hour range.
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there

Ever try the translated Mother 3 (sequel to Earthbound)? It's only about 20 hours long, and is one of the better stories you'll find in a JRPG.
... even on Earth Mode.

Do yourself a favor, pick up a 3ds.
You can spend $400 on a console and $400 on a cheap PC, or you can spend $800 to build your own and have the best of both worlds.

It was cool for a while, but I'm still working on Pokemon Y since released. Black 2 released and Y came out before I even finished it. If you don't have a lot of time, 3DS don't work.

I suggest:
Receiver (tech demo, fun for screwing around for a few hours)
Mark of the Ninja
God Bless America.
