I just want Shenmue...for now. My 6200 doesn't have HDMI, so I'm just sitting with my thumb in my ass.

Nah. While that is still a decent amount of power in SLI, 8800s are too old. They dont support DX11, they won't play new games. They would use a lot of energy and throw off a lot of heat.

Im all about heating my house, and lack of DX11 won't hinder me too much. Im trying to see if my friend will lend me his old 9800GT. I think there's issues with it, like the fan doesn't work, but I'll work with it.

Im kinda hoping the 880 will be the new 8800 lol

8800's no longer supported.

SLI 9800's instead. Can probably get med/high in most last gen games.

I would think that a GeForce GTX 750 for $120 would be substantially better than dual 8800 GTs while consuming only a fraction of the power.

But dual 8800 GT for $50... ehhh, can't do much worse.

I nabbed a 9800GT with a broken fan for free. I think I win.

So like... are you going to burn the card or what?
You can spend $400 on a console and $400 on a cheap PC, or you can spend $800 to build your own and have the best of both worlds.
