I'm talking about the Bioware formula which consists of:

- Companions
- Morality
- Somewhat linear plot/story
- Sidequests!

All four aren't a requirement but I'm looking for something new to play and I've replayed these three games so many times to unlock all the endings/outcomes so.

Thanks in advance.

Have you played the other games from Bioware? How about Fallout 1 and 2, or Planescape?

If you can enjoy older games try:

Planescape: Torment
Fallout 1 & 2
Baldur's Gate 2
Alpha Protocol
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Things more similar, but maybe not quite as well regarded as the above are going to be:

Kotor 2 (Content restoration mod)
Jade Empire
Neverwinter Nights
Dragon Age 2
Mass Effect 2/3

Thanks guys! I think I started playing Jade Empire at one point -- it's the one set in Asia, right? I think I have it on my external HD somewhere so I might have to pick that one up again at some point.

(Obviously I should have clarified that I've played all of DA and ME's trilogies, sorry. Ughhh so brilliant.)

The Witcher 1 and 2 are kinda similar. You don't really have companions in battle with you every fight, usually if you do its for a certain scene. The game has is morality for sure, but its so black and white as Mass Effect where you have paragon and renegade. Both games have a lot of side quests. The Witcher 2 has a lot of choices that can make difference, and even 2 entire different chapter 2's so you can replay twice easily to see how chapter 2 and the rest of the game turn out depending on what you pick. The Witcher 1 is a little primitive my modern standard, I would say its kinda like comparing Mass Effect 1 to 2 and 3.

Also Deus Ex Human Revolution.

This game you get no companions at all, but I think it hits the rest of your list. One my favorite games the last few years. The story is fairly linear but there are a few sidequest you end in multiple ways, but nothing that will make any long term consequences. Theres no so much morality in your decisions, but you can actually choose to play the game without killing any bad guys if you wish so you can kinda make up your own morality. And I think there might a couple sidequests where you can extort people for more money and such, but its a great game overall.

Jade Empire is a my recommendation, one of my favorite games of all time (great story, fun combat, deep companions, awesome music, etc...), and meets all the criteria you listed.
