Some people are easily impressed I guess.

Other than how nice wet surfaces looked, it wasn't that impressive. Not at all bad looking, but that video looked only marginally better than Sleeping Dogs from 2 or 3 years ago.
Indeed! Verily, I say... Ergo!

Some nice reflections/lighting effects do not an "amazing" looking game make IMO. Granted, it's certainly a nice looking game, but doesn't impress me like the UE4 demos etc.

I see a huge difference. I feel like you have a very crude eye.

It was alright. Although I'm a complete sucker for water and weather effect, I wasn't that impressed either.

I feel like I'm alone in this topic in my opinion on how vastly superior the AO and lighting is to any open world game to date, or any game, period.

Seems like some people here never played sleeping dogs maxed.

I don't know if you guys aren't watching the video and just skimming through at 480p, but this game clearly has some of the best graphics seen in a game. The AO is the best yet, and the lighting, both source and diffuse, shadowing and shaders uses on surfaces are downright top class.

Crude eye is the only explanation.

I own the game and have done just that. It's cheesy glitter graphics that aren't realistic. It's sad that people think you can even name that in the same sentence as this. No wonder console gaming is so popular. Even PC gamers can't see the obvious massive technical leaps shoved right in their faces.

Depressing.
