Dungeon Master II.

It was such a massive improvement over the original Dungeon Master - it included outdoor areas and multiple dungeons. I also loved the barter/haggle system with merchants.

I considered listing that one, but that game is still widely regarded as a classic for the style of game it is I think. Same goes for the original Rainbow Six games - awesome games, and didn't get *quite* the acclaim Unreal Tournament or Quake did, but still considered classic I think.

Freespace 1 and 2, if they count. I know they're considered classics by genre fans, but hardly any PC gamers I know have even heard of them.

Rainbow Six 3
Mechwarrior 4

I never hear people talk about them, so they don't seem like classics.

Any time conversations about mech games come up, MW4 is almost *always* mentioned - MW4: Mercenaries, specifically. It's pretty much considered the epitome of mech games by most people I've seen.

I played a bit of Rainbow Six 3 and pretty much hated it compared to the earlier games tho. :P But yeah, I don't think R63 would count as a classic, so that's a valid one for your list. heh

Hidden & Dangerous

Maybe Wing Commander 3. I'm not sure how many people would consider it a classic. It's my number 3 all time favorite PC game.

Ummm.

SW: Empire at War? I believe most hated it, but I loved Galatic Conquest. Just really hated ANYTHING when it came to ground / planet battles. Space pew pew ftw.

I'm actually honestly surprised how many people are mentioning Hidden & Dangerous here, considering how rarely I see it talked about.
