My main issue was military intelligence devolving so much in the future that nobody even pointed out that sending all troops for a frontal assault against an enemy which you have no chance of defeating isn't a sound tactic.

With enough American Spirit anything is a sound tactic.

That big weapon they were building that gave an excuse for Shepard to scour the galaxy for resources, thus driving the plot forward, is obviously a MacGuffin rather than a DEM. Learn your plot devices.

I just remember absolutely hating the party you got stuck with. Worst party in the series. Maybe it's considering you go from the amazing ME2 party to... this. The -worst- 6 or so characters from ME2 would've blown the ME3 party out of the water.

P.S. - I'm not counting Garrus. Or that one DLC guy, whom I can't comment on.

P.P.S. - I actually had no problem with the original ending... actually never saw the extended one. Did I love it? Not really. Did I lose my @#&$ like a lot of people? Nope.

Not only was Javik easily the most interesting character, you miss out on a good chunk of the story without him in the party. He really is one of the worst examples of day 1 DLC ever.

It's not a deus ex machina if it's at the beginning and lasts literally the whole story.

That doesn't prevent it from being a Deus Ex Machina. Just so you know. Also, I'm still going witht the ending as the worst.

The end of the rollarcoaster is always boring. This is nothing new.
