Is there any reason to use a Xbox One gamepad over a 360 one?

The d-pad is the same kind of d-pad as the 360 one, so I don't see why people think it's better

If you are considering buying an xbone controller to replace a 360 controller you already have I would say that's wasteful for some very minor improvements. If you don't have either and need a pc controller... Meh it might be worth paying a bit extra for.

I would never bother replacing a 360 controller but if yours broke, I would go for the One controller as it's an improvement.

He knows a hell of a lot more than you... whoever you are. Though he was wrong on this point.

Who the hell even are you?

I'm actually trying to decide which controller to use.
I have a DS3, DS4, Original 360 Controller ( The Halo 4 one with the switchable D-Pad ), a Razer Sabertooth, and a XB1 controller. I'm leaning towards the XB1 or the Sabertooth so far.

I like my DualShock 3, and will be upgrading to a DualShock 4 whenever this one dies.

I had a XBox 360 wired controller that I loved. I've only held the XBox One controller but haven't played a game with it so I don't have an opinion on it. But I still recommend the Xbox 360 controller if you need a wired gamepad. I'd buy one again if I had to.
