It's not the end of the world, but we can see it from here.

Very close to never buying an Ubi game ever again.

This pretty much solidifies the notion that Developers overestimated the power of the new console hardware because they weren't familiar with it. They overhyped the hardware as being on par with high-end gaming PC's and the reality is that they barely run equivalent settings to medium-high at 720p or 900p in most cases. The PS4 is objectively more powerful than the XBone but that won't matter in a year or two when the games it receives are running at 30 FPS and the same resolutions as their competition.

Games like The Division would not even exist if it were not for the popularity of consoles, so.....

Consoles may have been great in the past, but currently PC is doing much better in my opinion. The freedom of choice is much better.

I want to see the industry actually move forward and not be so full of itself by promising too much and delivering too little.

industry will conform to whatever pays best.

people want the "convinience and cheapness of little boxes" that can't match the power of the better alternative so the obvious solution is to bs, bs and then bs some more since it obviously works.
PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy.

"Truth be told in regards to your question that while ‘Yes’ the lead platform is the PC, we simply cannot have such a big gap."

It's safe to say Crytek will never pull another Crysis 1 and develop something strictly to push the PC's limits so I guess Valve is the last hope (Half Life 3) to make something and not give a 'F' about it being on consoles.

Currently as it stands, there is definitely a lot of push coming from publishers to not make the experience so different on consoles as to alienate people into thinking that next generation is not as powerful as PC.

OMG, deliberately downgrading graphics so people think that consoles are as powerful as PCs. LOL

Honestly, I was hesitant with getting hyped for the game anyway. UBI isn't exactly known for the stellar online when it comes to PC. As a matter of fact, they may be one of the worst companies when it comes to online play.
